One of our members (Ed Hofmann) is a machine tool technology instructor at El Camino Community College. Thanks to Ed, we meet in the college machine shop so a proper aura of heavy metal surrounds us during our meetings.

Once you arrive at the college, most have some difficulty in finding the meeting room the first time. On the campus layout below you will see an arrow indicating the location of the door leading down to the basement machine shop in the Math and Computer Science building. The machine shop is located in room number MCS 1A. We meet in an adjacent classroom, MCS 4

Off-campus parking can be scarce, but some parking is often available on Manhattan Beach Blvd just North of the Math building. Currently, there is a closed construction area just north of the Math building, so you might want to park a bit further west. Carefully observe and obey all parking limitation signs.

CAUTION from Norm: DO NOT PARK ON CHADRON ... $75 parking ticket! (Any guess as to how he found out?)

Another Caution: Parking on campus requires a permit purchase, which usually requires two $1.00 bills.
