If you locate a Rivett whose cross-slide is fitted with the optional accumulator dial, feel fortunate. These dials have two engraved cylinders of 3-1/8" diameter that revolve at different speeds. The engraved thousandths lines are far apart and are easy to read. The rear cylinder displays the number of turns of the front cylinder - a DRO of 50 years ago.
